Bolt-on +2" long travel kit for the 2nd Gen Toyota Tacoma. Extended 4130 chromoly upper and lower control arms widen front track 2" per side and bolt to the factory mounting locations for 11.5" of front wheel travel with 4WD. Ships with King 2.5" long travel coilovers.

The Expedition Series adds 2" more ground clearance than the Standard Series kit. Lower arms are internally gusseted and fully boxed with billet CNC uniball cups that integrate into the arm for added strength while retaining the factory turning radius. Integrated steering stop tabs preserve factory turning angle with no modification to the ball joint cradles, and dual shock tabs let you add a TC bypass shock later for more damping control.

Specs & Features

  • Includes King 2.5" front long travel coilovers with remote reservoirs, compression adjusters, and 600 lb springs (pair, PN TC5119-03A)
  • Extended upper and lower control arms widen track 2" per side (kit PN 86222T-E)
  • 11.5" of front wheel travel with 4WD
  • 4130 chromoly construction; upper and lower ball joints upgraded to 1" uniballs
  • 1" I.D. uniballs with heat-treated stainless steel ball and race, military-grade PTFE woven liner
  • Internally gusseted, fully boxed lower arms with dual shock tabs and integrated steering stop tabs
  • Urethane pivot bushings with greaseable zerk fittings
  • 17-4 stainless steel hi-misalignment spacers, DOT-approved stainless steel braided brake lines, Grade 8 hardware
  • Adjustable limit strap clevises included to tune droop travel
  • 3-stage powder coat with clear coat finish, hand crafted in the USA

Notes

  • TC custom 4WD extended axles required to retain 4WD (machined from 4340, reuse factory CV joints, sold separately)
  • Uses TC-specific 2.5" long travel coilovers that bolt to the factory coil bucket; extended-travel shocks are too short and will not work
