3rd Gen 4Runner Lift Kit 1.5-3 Inch 5100
Includes:
- (2) Front and (2) Rear Springs
- (2) Bilstein 5100 or RCD 4Runner Adjustable Front Struts
- (2) Bilstein 5100 Standard or Extended Travel 3rd Gen 4Runner Rear Shocks
Front Shocks:
- Race Car Dynamics Shock (Original shock built for Bilstein before they created their own 3rd Gen 4Runner shock) More information can be found HERE
- Both shocks are a great option! The RCD shocks have slightly more travel (0.1") and will provide slightly more lift (very minimal). Both shocks work well paired with the spring options below.
Front coils:
- 1.5" Lift Front Springs
- 2.5-3" Lift Front Springs
- 2.5-3" Lift Front Springs (100lbs Plus Weight)
Rear Shocks:
- The long travel shock options utilize 4th Gen 4Runner Rear 5100 Bilstein shocks that also work on 3rd Gen 4Runners and provide an extra 1" of travel compared to the standard 3rd Gen shocks. Please be aware that this can cause the spring to be loose at full flex and is not recommended with the 1.5" lift rear spring option. Extended rear brake lines and bumpstops are recommended for this shock option.
Rear Spring Options:
- 1.5" Lift Rear Springs
- 2.5-3" Lift Rear Springs
- 2.5-3" Lift Rear Springs (200lbs Plus Weight)
- 3.5" Lift Rear Springs (300lbs Plus Weight)
Notes:
- Kits come unassembled unless an assembly option is selected. You can reuse your stock top hat and stem bushing/washers for installation on unassembled kits.
- All lift figures are based on lift averages, your exact setup may vary. We have no control over the total height the lift achieves on your specific vehicle.
- 2WD lift heights may vary from estimated heights as the front end is lighter.
- Lift estimates are based on the front struts being set on the lowest perch. Raising the perch level on the front struts to gain more lift may cause damage to the struts as the springs are lifting springs. You are responsible for any damage to the strut that may occur. Any manufacturer warranties are voided when going above the lowest perch while utilizing lifting springs.
- Either ASC or OME springs will be used, depending on availability.

Frequently Asked Questions
Assembled: Includes the shock, coil spring, and top mount preloaded and ready to install. No spring compressor required—just bolt it in and go.
Unassembled: You’ll receive the components separately. You’ll need to reuse your factory top hats and compress the spring during installation.
Choosing an assembled option saves time and eliminates the need for special tools. It's ideal if you want a quicker, hassle-free install.
If your vehicle has extra weight from accessories like aftermarket bumpers, winches, roof racks, rock sliders, or drawer systems, it’s important to choose springs designed for that load. Standard lift springs are intended for stock weight—using them under added load can result in sagging, poor ride quality, or insufficient lift height.
Our product descriptions include guidance to help you select the correct spring based on your setup. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.
Upper control arms connect your front suspension to the frame and play a critical role in alignment. When lifting your vehicle, stock UCAs can limit suspension travel and make proper alignment difficult. Aftermarket UCAs—like those offered by SRQ—provide improved geometry, more caster, and additional clearance for larger shocks and tires.
A differential drop kit helps correct CV axle angles after lifting an independent front suspension (IFS) vehicle. When your front end is raised, the axles sit at a steeper angle, increasing wear and the chance of tearing a CV boot. A diff drop lowers the front differential slightly to reduce that angle and prolong component life. It’s a small but worthwhile upgrade on most 2–3" lifts.
A Panhard Correction Kit repositions the panhard bar to correct rear axle alignment after lifting a solid axle vehicle. Without it, the axle may shift slightly to one side, affecting handling and tire clearance. The PCK restores proper geometry to keep your axle centered and tracking true. SRQ Fabrications offers the original PCK for the 4Runner, designed for bolt-on precision and trail-tested durability.
DuroBumps are premium progressive bump stops that replace the factory rubber stops. They help cushion suspension compression, prevent harsh bottom-outs, and protect your shocks and frame from damage. Unlike stock bump stops, DuroBumps provide a smoother transition under load—especially beneficial when off-roading or running extended-travel shocks.
Extended brake lines are longer than factory brake lines and are designed to accommodate increased suspension travel. If you're lifting your vehicle—especially 2" or more—it’s important to ensure your brake lines aren’t stretched at full droop. Extended lines provide the necessary slack and help prevent failure during articulation or hard off-road use.
Trim packers are small coil spring spacers used to correct a lean or add minor lift. They’re often installed on the driver’s side to offset “driver side lean” (due to fuel tank, battery, etc.) or stacked to fine-tune ride height. A simple but effective way to level your suspension without replacing springs.
