Get the factory washer reservoir out of harm’s way with our aluminum washer fluid relocation reservoir for the 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runner and 1st Gen Toyota Tacoma with our newly updated design!
Designed for lifted and modified trucks, this reservoir relocates the factory washer tank from the vulnerable wheel-well area to a protected location behind the passenger-side headlight and in front of the air box.
The reservoir is fabricated from 5052 aluminum and finished with a custom in house machined 6061 billet aluminum vented cap. Its shape was designed specifically around the available engine-bay space to maximize washer-fluid capacity without sacrificing valuable room.
Best of all, it’s a fully bolt-on installation that retains your factory washer pumps and gaskets!
WHY RELOCATE THE FACTORY RESERVOIR?
CLEARANCE FOR BIGGER TIRES
Running 33” or larger tires? Under suspension compression, larger tires can contact the factory washer reservoir.
With 35”+ tires, clearance becomes even tighter and contact can occur during normal driving depending on your suspension and setup.
Relocating the reservoir removes it from the wheel-well area, giving your tires more room to move without putting the factory tank at risk.
PROTECT YOUR WASHER PUMPS
High-clearance aftermarket bumpers expose considerably more of the underside of the vehicle—and that can leave the factory washer reservoir, pumps and hoses hanging out in the open.
On the trail, they’re vulnerable to rocks, branches and other obstacles.
Our relocation reservoir moves the entire assembly into the engine bay where it’s far better protected.
CLEAN UP THE FRONT OF YOUR TRUCK
The factory reservoir can become extremely noticeable once the stock bumper is removed or replaced with a high-clearance bumper.
Relocating it into the engine bay eliminates the exposed plastic tank and gives the front of your truck a much cleaner, more finished appearance.

Please note: This reservoir does NOT include a hole for a low fluid sensor. USA model 4Runners do not have a low fluid sensor, but Tacomas and Canadian model 4Runners do. If your vehicle has the sensor and you would like to add the sensor back, you can use a step bit to drill a hole for the sensor.

Your factory washer pumps and gaskets are reused.

The reservoir mounts using factory mounting locations with the supplied aluminum bracket and hardware.

Each reservoir is fabricated from aluminum and built to last in real-world use on modified Toyota trucks. Even our billet caps are now machined in house!
Because this is a fabricated aluminum product, minor cosmetic surface blemishes may be present. These do not affect fit, function or durability.
Every reservoir is guaranteed to be watertight and includes a 1-year warranty against defects under normal use.
